The surface treatment process of the DTG custom t shirt has the following types:

Liquid Ammonia Mercerizing: Mercerizing is a process in which cotton products (yarns, fabrics) are treated with concentrated caustic soda solution (above 160g/L) under tension, and then the caustic soda is washed away under tension. After treatment, the roundness of the fiber increases, the surface smoothness and optical properties are improved, and the intensity of reflected light is increased. The fabric shows silk-like luster, giving it the effect of mercerized cotton.

Features after treatment: The gloss of the fabric is increased, it has the luster of silk fabric, and the hand feels refreshing and smooth.

Sanding Process:

The equipment used in the sanding process is a sanding machine, which uses sand skin, carbon, ceramics and other rollers to grind out the microfibers in the fabric yarn to form a fluff effect on the surface.

Carbon Sanding: Use a sanding stick made of carbon fiber abrasive filaments to treat the textiles, forming a layer with a short-pile layer on the surface of the fabric. After treatment, the handle is soft, comfortable, rich in texture, and strong in drape.

Ceramic Sanding: Use ceramics as a sanding stick to sand the textiles. After treatment, it feels soft and has a suede-like feel.
