Moisture-permeable waterproof fabric for sportswear

The design concept of the moisture-permeable waterproof fabric is to prevent the infiltration of heavy raindrops, mist and snow, and the sweat discharged by the human body can be discharged smoothly. In addition to achieving superior waterproof performance, the wearer will not feel sultry and hot. The known GORE-TEX fabric laminated by CF is very suitable for alpine rock climbing and marine activities. Toray's Entrant is a moisture-permeable waterproof material coated with PU resin, which removes excessive moisture from the inner surface of the fabric. Currently, its annual output in Japan is 1.3 million meters. Toray's other non-coated high-density inflammable material "HZOFF" is a polyester ultra-fine Danny air-entangled yarn, and its structure has a high degree of moisture permeability.

Toray's recently developed EntrantG-II is composed of double-layer PU honeycomb films of different densities, with a moisture permeability of 8000g/m2/D, and blocking raindrops from 100 to 500μ (from drizzle to heavy rain). "Dermizax" is currently being developed, which is a non-porous PU resin coated on polyester woven fabric with a moisture permeability of 5500g/m2/D. In addition, the porous resin can make the fabric exhaust moisture at high temperature, and at low temperature, it has a warmth retention effect, while maintaining the appropriate moisture of the fabric.
